Ren Amamiya (Persona) vs Gilgamesh (Fate)

How...? Bladespam means jack when none of it can affect Ren. It's a repeat of Gil vs Accel where danmaku is useless. Plus, Joker will switch to it the moment he sees the rain of weapons and figures he can't dodge.

Danmaku where each weapon has a different effect, almost all of them are magical in nature, and it's mentioned many times it would be suicide to try and block them all? And ya do know Makarakarn only blocks one magic attack, and he DOES have limited SP too. Considering gil's magic resistance and reality warping, there's no way he's gonna be able to spirit drain him either.

You have to REALLY downplay Gil/wank Ren to even make this a stalemate

His weapons are physical first, magical second. It's been shown in P5 that secondary effects are nullified alongside the physical attack. He also only needs Makarakarn for when Gil directly activates an NP, like shooting him with a beam from Gram or something. The actual danmaku itself can be dealt with using passive physical nullification/repulsion/absorption. That doesn't cost SP. Ren just has to stand there and take it.

And that's assuming he doesn't just see the Gram beam coming with Third Eye, react to it with his amped reactions and switch to a Persona that nulls both physical and curse before taking the hit and shrugging it off. He doesn't even need Makarakarn that way.

Reality Warping? Ren resists. Magic Resistance? Spirit Drain is Almighty and doesn't care.

At best, this is a stalemate as Joker will have to keep switching personas and recasting abilities just to stay alive. Because he can't do shit to GIlgamesh, but Gilgamesh has chances to do shit to him. Ren will run out of magic eventually. Spirit Drain doesn't exactly heal a huge reserve and the amount itll take him to reapply buffs and shit will bring him back down.

Gil wins. At worst, after a long, drawn-out fight. At best, he bladespams Joker at the outset.

This key of Joker now has infinite SP, btw.

Also, he doesn't have to keep switching. Null/repel/absorb physical is all he needs to counter the bladespam, and anything that isn't bladespam would take long enough that Joker can react by casting Makarakarn. He doesn't need buffs or Spirit Drain, and Third Eye is easier for him than summoning a Persona.

Anyway, he still can't kill Gilgamesh because of Ten Crowns (which I still think is complete bull), so this turns out inconclusive no matter what regardless. RIP thread.

It does give him amped reactions. Which, being that all of his Persona stuff being thought-based, is all he needs.

Resistance to subjective reality doesn't mean you can nullify someone's ability to negate damage. Resistant to it means he can resist offensive based attacks of it, doesn't it?

You would need power null to nullify the negation's effects??? There's nothing to resist???

Power null on Subjective reality negation*

I'm fairly certain you can't resist negation

You cant exactly resist having your attack not work

See you would think that but everyone acts like subjective reality is completely different which is why it got it's own page

I mean people treat subjective reality as different enough to say that resisting reality warping isn't enough to resist it

But again you can't really resist someone just not being hurt by resisting subjective reality

It was explained to me by the creator of the power, and page, that reality warping is a subpower of Subjective reality, and it should be treated as a separate power different from reality warping.

Also, I still believe you need power nullification on them to nullify the ability instead of resisting it. What's the difference????
