Chief has far more defensive options with his various different types of shields, arguably superior training and mindset as this isn't 2016 doom yet. A lot of his equipment won't be doing crap against the Mjolnir armor (Chainsaw, normal handgun, et cetera), and everything else, Chief has a similar version of
