I still have a hard time understanding this cuz I thought lower tiered characters can't touch higher tier stuff at all, especially if it's High 1-A. How can tier 5 non-smurf bypass High 1-A stuff when High 1-A is on a whole new level? I always thought it's not possible at all for tier 5 characters to beat high tier shit

Metatron is physically 3D, according to his profile—to my knowledge it's only with HDE and such where you need feats on that level to affect them—and has no resistance to EE.

Think of it like me having a nuke, I could defeat a lot of verses with my nuke but that doesnt mean i cant be killed with a normal gun
