True. And didnt Team Galactic state that each of the lake trio observe the human world from another dimension that just so happens to look very much like the 3 lakes? The biggest implication is that they needed to use a galactic bomb and throw it in each lake and that bombs capable of opening a hole in space.

Pretty sure it was stated the dimensions were in the lake as such they're probably pockets.

I think the bomb made a portal and the portal was at the very bottom floor of the lake so it could be the lake itself is just a portal to an alternate dimension but its unlikely
