Reality warping and transmutation/petrification resistance

If character a has reality warping and can use it to turn people into wood dolls, rubber balls and other things, and character b resists their warping, that means character b also resists transmutation right? and petrification since that’s part of transmutation?

About transmutation, yes, about petrification, not really, as some petrification feats are kinda of different

Transmutation resistance not resisting petrification would be weird since both change you into something else

There is no difference between them, petrification is transmutation but into only 1 thing. That's like grabbing some other thing or type of thing transmutation can turn you into and say that resisting transmutation isn't the same as resisting that.
