@Passersby Reinhard can be hurt, that has been shown, it's just impossible within Re Zero to put him down permanently.

But hurting him to begin with is a hard task due to all his blessings, and even without them his physical stats and skill still make that a extremely hard task.

I have to correct you though, Reinhard has a purpose, narratively he is the foil to Subaru, the man who can seemingly do everything by himself, while Subaru can do nothing by himself.

But as it turns out Reinhard is cursed to be the world's hero, and can really save nobody but himself, meanwhile Subaru through much pain and suffering, with the help of his friends can save those he cares for.

Like read Pride If to see this dynamic. Reinhard is disgustingly powerful, but this is Re Zero, even the unkillable hero is suffering.

Is kinda weird, because i read a bunch of Re:ZERO fanfic that have the same plot, but that just happens like, later in other arcs, not in arc 1.
