It doesn't actually stop the Regen just slows it down.
Limited Regeneration Negation (Up to Low-Godly; Kabuto stated that it would take time for Muu to regenerate from Naruto's attack due to the new power he acquired)
Muu is an Edo Tensei who shares the same Regeneration as Edo Deidara (Low-Godly. It was stated that he could regenerate from the damage caused by his C0, which vaporizes targets, as many times as he wanted and can regenerate as long as his soul remains)

He doesn't completely negate it, just slows it down. In KCM, he slowed down Muus regeneration as stated by Kabuto.

IIRC that's one of the reasons Kaguya couldn't Regen immediately after this Naruto cut off her arm and when Kakashi (Who was given the same Chakra as this Naruto) wounded her

Okay so she has two types of "Regen":
1. Actually healing/regenerating her body
2. Creating artificial body parts for her body
But aren't both methods through the manipulation of Life Fibers or is it just "Same Source, Different Application?"
