Two fighters stand on opposite sides of the open field, another hero of Neon Cavaliers, sword & shield user, Alexander Durham, and one of the FU supervisors, masterminds behind all FU‘s machinery, Laser Frog.

Anyway, Laser Frog gonna start by exploiting its regeneration into making 2 clones of itself (which can be controlled remotely similarly as one can control their own limbs)

Alex would start with his information analysis before using his magic skills.

(He would probably see the tiny AP disadvantage, magic fearsome aura and L.Frogs's mid-regen). Laser Frog then sends the 2 "clones" running at him from left & right, having equipped piercing blades at arm ends via blood manipulation. Before they reach him, OG L.Frog charges its fists in preparation to send some ranged attacks.

How will they handle Alex using his barriers to protect himself?

By clones dashing into the barriers with defense-piercing laser blades, they should shatter in a few seconds. Main Laser Frog gonna use:

• Red laser bursting - With charged fists can send multiple red laser arrow-like strikes, delivering immense energy within. Even the stone area around melts and vaporizes just from it being close. Arrow strikes can navigate toward the opponent.

The strikes gonna fly around the barriers and target Alex from different sides (mainly from the back).

Alex does have his Outburst Wave Explosion skill that can reduce opponents to ash, but it'll knock him out for five days and is more of a last resort. Going to vote Laser Frog since they have way more win-cons.

Outburst Wave Explosion would likely turn the 2 clones into ash. Main L.Frog could notice this in time with enhanced senses and jump a kilometer into the atmosphere to evade (and use regen afterward if it still hit), then land safely with red laser techniques.
