Question: How many joules is one Dragon Ball power level?

The internet had no conclusive results. If the power levels scaled linearly, then a normal person with a power level of 5 would be able to inflict massive damage on a planet, when they actually can't. This is because an acceptable power rating for planet destruction is 15,000,000. So divide GBE of Earth by this and you get about 2*10^25 joules, times 5 is 10^26 joules. So a normal person is Large Continent Level? There has to be a better way to resolve this (I am thinking exponential equation). Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

PL doesn't work in a linear way most of time: it increase exponencially from 100 to 400 (or so), 10000 is the baseline for Planet level, and was just linear during Goku & Friexa's fight. It can't be determinated in your way.

i seriously hope you're joking. power levels are nothing but bullshit. they dont mean ANYTHING. they're only used to compare two characters powers during one battle, they have ABSOLUTELY ZERO consistency throughout the series. of course its not going to make sense.
