Question about the lifting strength feat

I heard that it wasn't Argosax who moved the moon. It was simply a requirement of the ritual. Can anyone care to explain what happened with the feat.

Long story short, the eclipse in DMC2 is required for the ritual but, it is never mentioned, implied, or even existed the entire game prior to it's appearance in mission 14 Dante side. In the missions prior to mission 14, the moon is shown rotating left to right in the sky and the sun is nowhere to be seen. Mission 12 and 13 show no eclipse either. But when the eclipse appears, the sun is suddenly in the sky and the moon moves to the complete opposite position it was in the sky a mission prior, meaning the eclipse wasn't formed naturally.

Only when after Arius gains most of the arcana does the eclipse appear and the entire island gets warped, which was said to be done by the powers of the demon world and the approach of the demon world . Given all of this, only Argosax can be the root cause behind the eclipse and the moon moving.

Thanks. I know its off topic but could you answer where Dantes instinctive reaction comes from.

I could've swore a link to an image showing the feat was on his profile before but I guess not.

"Dante winced as the words slipped out. Sometimes it's hard to come up with a pithy one-liner during battle, he reflected. It seems so easy in the movies.
Rebellion roared through the darkness, stabbing at the void. It had taken Dante a moment to realize that the void wasn't empty. The void was the king himself. Somehow he knew how to fight it, slashing at the darkness and instinctively avoiding attack."

Basically, Dante fought Mundus who was complete darkness, a void of nothing, and instinctively avoided Mundus' attacks despite him being nothing and the area being beyond pitch black.
