Question about Durability Negation

Alright so we all know they're attacks that can negate durability, whether it's through soul manipulation, matter destruction, mind manipulation, etc. But then there are attacks that just negate durability, like they just negate durability for whatever reason, usually it comes from game RPGs. Where the attacks just negates durability with no explaination to why it can. Would those attacks negate the durability of a 3-C? I know the point of durability negation is the fact it negates durability, and if you don't have a resistance to the attack then it will negate you durability. But that's the other problem, how can someone gain a resistance to that durability negation other than RPG characters (some have items that turn the durability negating attack into a regular attack, or just resist it via a skill or item)

When there is no explanation/mechanic, the attack only negates durability up to what it has shown.

If a 9-B negates the durability of a 4-B because he just does it, it wouldn't work on someone stronger than said 4-B.

Also if the mechanism is explained (i.e. cutting through any material regardless of strength or density), anyone who has counters to that mechanism doesn't have their durability ignored. For example, if Artanis tried to ignore the durability of someone who resists matter manipulation, it wouldn't work since his ignore mechanic comes from bypassing material density.

Only when you say that it works beyond what it has shown.

It's kinda like someone having a weapon that can "cut through anything".

It's clearly NLF to say that it can harm 3-As if it has only harmed 4-Bs. It isn't NLF to say that it negates durability up to said degree of 4-B though.

If it "cuts through anything" via matter manipulation or something it isn't NLF
