So I've read Desperado have Type 4 Acausality due to them "transcending fate". Isn't Type 2 also transcends fate? Is there other reason for them to have Type 4 instead of 2? Thanks.
Yes both give resistances. But the term "transcend causality" or "exist beyond the causality of the world" is Type 4. Because of:
Type 4: Irregular Causality: Characters with this type of Acausality operate on a different and irregular system of cause and effect than regular causality.
It doesn't say transcend, but transcending regular causality is Type 4, because it means "you don't operate on the normal rules, but rather different rules of causality".
Even though "transcending causality" is Type 5, type 5 needs a lot more proof. And they need to be completely transcended of causality as a whole, where as the people in rakudai just exist beyond the causality of the world, they still have causality and fate of their own.
