Question about AP (Attack Potency), DC (destructive Capacity)and Attack Range

My question is : does AP and DC always scale to each other? And does Attack Range always scale to DC and AP? Or are they completely different?

I'm just a little bit confused on how things work

AP and DC scale normally, unless the DC is done with abilities that don't scale to physicals.

Range only scales to DC normally , since AP tends to be concentrated, like a punch, unless there is shockwaves, AOE damage or the character has large size.

AP and DC are the same thing but AP is normally concentrated or uses the energy differently (i.e. kinectic energy, earthquake and weather feats)

So is a case by case, but you can see AP as DC oftenly without AOE.

Okay let's just assume that I busted a Building with an energy blast but the energy blast itself had 3-B AP so does that mean I have 3-B AP and DC?
