QS speed in Apocalypse movie?

Just saw latest film in franchise and scene where he saves everyone from already ongoing explosion is insase so his speed must also be insanse.Insanse for movies that is.Anyone else who watched movie can estimate new speed?

Well he was mach 40+ in last movie where it was calculated with that getting out of prison scene with, with how much bullet moved. But this was explosion, explosion travels faster than bullet yet that same explosion seemed slow

Not that I doubt his speed, but isn't it weird how they present it? Don't get me wrong, it looks super cool but how can he stop moving and yet everything around him is still moving slow? I've said it before but I think this quicksilver can manipulate time.

But he is literally out pacing his own perception and is still able to interact with objects that are moving slow, even when he's at rest? Something is just off about that. Take season 1 of CW Flash where Barry saves everyone on the de-railing train. He perceives the train to be moving slow but then begins to run and continues to do so until everyone is off. Do you think time manipulation could be a factor? That would be one heck of an upgrade to Quicksilver.

No. I do not. I think that it is just artistic license to handle superspeed differently from case to case.

No need to get scared about him being at rest, Heatforce. :p If you had thousands of times human reflexes and speed and accel, you'd also be able to run a lot, stop, wait attoseconds and go back to running. It's really not time stopping, but you do perceive it as such.

About the scene... I don't remember if the explosion was GOING ON while he did that or if Scarlet was holding it back for him, but, well, I'd say he's at least Mach 300 now. SERIOUSLY, the guy saved dozens if not hundreds of people while playing around. It was a detonation, so if the explosion was ongoing it was probably expanding at ~500 m/s or ~1000 m/s (I remember a thread showing a table of detonation speeds but really don't remember the numbers now).

Really, the guy is MHPS, if we underestimate him.

Yeah he is without a doubt the fastest silver screen speedster thus far. I refrain from saying the fastest live action speedster due to Smallville Flash. But they way Singer is using him, I wouldn't be surprised if they make him FTL eventually.

Yea, he did all that while the explostion was happening.

now in that time the explosion barely seems to move but let's say it moved a meter. Given the detonation speed as roughly 3000m/s that mean he traveled roughly 220 meters in roughly 0.00033333 seconds making his speed roughly 660000m/s or Mach 1924.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GdlUkOnIBo Here's the scene agai

And since it was jet fuel that exploded and jet fuel explosion is 3000m/s,minimum we get is Mach 1924

Okay. Thanks. You can ask the other calculation group members for input to get the feat accepted.

The guy on the video started with an interesting idea but lost it in the process.Dividing area by time and using multipliers he made up to get speed isn't correct.

Speed = distance/time.

Quicksilver traveled a relative large distance compared to the explosion so just finding the relation between the distance he covered and distance the explosion covered and the multiplying it by the detonation velocity of the explosive would give his speed.

Two notes here:

1.The velocity of the explosion decreases as times goes by.

2.He automatically assumed that the explosive was a solid one (which has a higher detonation velocity) while it could have been a gass.
