Michael sat silently in his cell. Unmoving, unthinking, waiting. He was locked inside a maximum security prison, where he was to rot forever. But evil finds away. There was a crash downstairs as an explosion went off. The Shape gave an eerie smile as the screams of the dying could scarcely be heard over the bullets and explosions. Myers calmly, serenely punched down the door to his cell, went to the evidence locker to geab his mask and knife and then went to the gore filled lobby to wait for the nameless man to return. Eventually, after he was sure all life in the building had been extinguished, Not Important sauntered back to the lobby, another location checked off of his list for the Genocide Crusade.

Then the Crusader made eye contact with the boogeyman.

Nothing moved, as two enforcers of chaos stared each other down eye to eye. Michael studiously tilted his head as Not Important's hatred briefly faltered at the sight of something just as twisted as him. The two killers looked into each others eyes, the devil's eyes, and knew that there was no humanity left in either of them. The moment passed, as hatred once again overcame any semblance of reason in the Genocide Crusader's mind and the voices stalking Myers thoughts once again urged him to kill.....

The Antagonist keeps his distance, using his longer range and wider assortment of weapons to shoot Michael until he dies

Not seems better durability-wise too.

Type 8 immortality would like a word.

There must be a source for that
....It's literally the plot of the movie that he can't die until his family does. It's why he's trying to kill them in the first place, so he's not doomed to live forever.

Problem is, that doesn't stop him from getting incapped via taking too much damage.

Michael's Type 8 doesn't let him just get back up anytime he takes more than he can handle. Otherwise, he'd never be put down by anyone in-verse, even temporarily. (which is not the case at all)

I'm pretty sure the immortality is not combat applicable, as whenever Michael has been heavily wounded or "killed," it took him quite a bit of time to come back. But Not Important doesn't seem to strategize, so I don't know if he'd exactly go for the range game right away. Plus, Michael was able to still move for a while after being shot several times by a firing squad, so taking a few shots won't be too much of issue.

I'd say Michael does take this as he usually leads with stealth and is smart enough to play dead if need be.

Does that mean Michael survives if his head goes kaboom?

If so, I still think Not can incap him easily.

He was at the epicenter of a large explosion. He does also have minor illusion creation. I don't exactly remember how it works, but it could throw Not off his game

Going by this scenario set up, stealth doesn't matter much unless Not loses sight. He doesn't strategize but he has no reason not to go nuts with his weapons. Then again, when does he favor melee in any form? That's gotta matter a lot in determining his next move when Myers-kun does like a dense anime protagonist and doesn't take the clue that a couple of bullets should kill him.

The scenario gives Michael the power to smile, he's too powerful

Michael should be able to take plenty of punishment such as Not's insane tactics. But Michael already has an idea from the scenario about Not going in to do as much damage as possible. So even if Michael does take a few shots, he'd already have an idea about how to deal with Not

DON'T UNDERESTIMATE WRIGHT WAY'S POWER

Indeed, the problem here is that unlike most of his victims, Not is not (heh) helpless against his physical might without needing to discard his weapons. And that's if he doesn't get Myers on a leg or near the face.

He doesn't. Not unless his victim is already right in his face and he basically can't refuse the opportunity to has no choice but to kick their face in.

He's also, y'know, infamous for his love of shooting the unarmed.

So he's gonna unload every last bit of anything he has at hand on Myers first hand, until he either falls down or can't see him.

... Yeah, I don't see Myers getting into cover soon enough.

I don't either.

It also doesn't help that fake Nathan Explosion spends a whole two-thirds of his game outgunning the **** out of an entire American police force--and eventually a small chunk of the U.S. military-- singlehandedly while toting nothing but a bunch of (probably black market) guns and ammo.

Just pointing out that it's not out of character for Michael to pretend to be dead after getting shot. He did it at the end of Halloween 1 and in Halloween 2 in order to kill a cop.

If this is not necro'd, the man destroyed a city wins over the man lost to a mother and a child FRA.
