GBE isn't an actual observable property of planets though. It seems to be a common misconception that there is constantly 2.487e+32 joules constantly holding the planet together. Gravity isn't constantly pushing down on us, it only pushes down if we decide' to' go up. Gravity is a force which is entirely different from kinetic energy, which we scale attack potency to. As we already know, force doesn't scale to attack potency. If we stay on the surface, gravity doesn't exert any energy on us. Gravity doesn't give anything energy and it isn't an energy source, it only counteracts energy by sort of "recycling" it to use some of it against you. For example, the energy of water falling comes from the sunlight and not gravity. Yes, there is pressure pushing down on the earth, but that is caused by the weight of the atmosphere. this website explains it pretty well.

I'm pretty sure that isn't new information at all. Also, GBE is still at bare minimum the energy required to blow up an entire planet. And the primary reason creating planets/stars is treated as compatible to destruction is because of philosophical concepts. Keep in mind that stuff like Fate Manipulation or Reality Warping aren't scientific principles but more so based on religion/philosophies if anything. And Creator Gods are often scene as the closest thing in their respective verse as being an "Omnipotent diety". I said that very loosely because that's not always the case; especially if the creator god is a villain. And we're more strict with Omnipotence then we are with any other ability. It's safely assumed that the God who gave birth to the Universe is also equally capable of oneshotting the universe. And smaller scale stuff such as creating planets or stars still equates to destroying planets and stars.

That being said, we've always been using GBE values that have consistently been contested numerous times, and that's also not going to change.
