Prismatic Stone Warriors (Chromastone vs. Gigalith)

Stone is easily one of the hardest natural elements on earth. This is why many characters in fiction that can wield stones tend to be some of the strongest characters around, with both a strong defense and offense. And when the characters are actually made of stone, this point is doubly so. However, today, we deal with two characters who are not only made of stone, but also wield the power of prismatic quartz that gives them the power to wield light and energy as well. But which of these especially powerful stony fighters has what it takes to win? Today, we find out!

In the blue corner, we have Chromastone from Ben 10, and in the red corner, we have Gigalith from Pokémon.



This is a fight to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any outside help.

-This fight takes place in the Virbank City Pokémon Gym, giving Gigalith the home-court advantage.

-Speed is equalized.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

Chromastone = 352.51 Megatons

Gigalith = > 531 Megatons

But with that being said, i will give this to Chromastone, Gigalith's main form of attack is something that Chromastone can absorb and shoot it back to Gigalith, while Gigalith does have Physical attacks, most of them needs Physical contact, wich Chroma can easily avoids via flight and range spam. TBF, Gigalith does have Rock Slide, Rock Blast and Stone Edge, but Chroma has forcefields that may be able to mitigate the damage

AP and dura wise, gigalith is comparable to alakasam and by extension tyranatar who is stronger than pupitar who is 531 megatons, chromastone is 352 ish tons, speed is equalized, chromastone has a significant lifting strength advantage (class M vs class 100), chromestone probably take intelligence, gigalith has a pretty large range advantage (tens of meters vs tens of kilometers.).

and as for ranged attacks, there's rock blast, mud slap, rock slide, smack down, and stone edge. i dont believe chromastone can absorb any of those. looking through gig's profile, the only attacks it has that chromestone could abosorb are power gem and explosion, all others should be fine.

And Solar Beam (Soon to be added), however, Giga leads with energy type of attacks, so Chroma could just absorb it and use to power him up, it would take some time until Giga realized what is happening to his attacks

Sand Stream will be a pretty big advantage for Gigalith, seeing it helps him tank Chromastone's energy attacks and weakens Chromastone throughout the fight

As far as I'm concerned, he has access to all of his different moves that he could have naturally, which includes Egg Moves.

Gravity will come in handy to stop Chromastone from flying. Potentially Lock On can also be used to secure a hit.

But that forcefield is a problem, as well as the absorption. Hmm.

So Gigalith scales ABOVE 531 Megatons, not TO 531 Megatons?

So Gigalith will also be operating on boosted Special Defense, & boosted Speed during the Sandstorm.
I'm unsure Chromastone would take damage from Sandstorm, but would it give him issues locating Gigalith? (Although, it may give Gigalith trouble locating Chromastone, too.)

Counterproductively, what may be overanalysis says the sand (& the fight taking place in a gym.) may hinder Gigalith's long-term performance.

Black 2 White 2	The solar rays it absorbs are processed in its energy core and fired as a ball of light.

Sun	The blasts of energy it makes from sunbeams have terrifying power. However, it’s not able to fire its blasts at night or on rainy days.

Shield	Although its energy blasts can blow away a dump truck, they have a limitation— they can only be fired when the sun is out.

....Or maybe not?:

Ultra Moon	It absorbs rays of sunlight and shoots out energy. It’s usually lurking deep beneath the surface.

More analysis of it says it may have other long-term performance issues:

Ultra Sun	When it fires off energy with all its might, the power creates countless fissures on its body.

I'm unsure frequently being described as using energy/light means that is it's preferred method of assault, just the most documented (Confirmation bias, nature of the circumstances.) but it does seem like a reasonable enough assumption.

Though, it does bring up the question how Gigalith might behave if Chromastone absorbs/reflects/repurposes one of such non-Physical Attacks.

Still, while Gigalith does have long-term issues, a possibly unfair battlefield (Apply SBA paradox clause here?), less mobility & seemingly less intelligence than Ben.
But Gigalith also seems to have better AP, boosted non-Physical Durability, possible residual damage, possible visibility issues helping it, & some of its stat-amping, like Autotomize & Curse.

Largely irrelevant (It's dodgeable, isn't it.) as it may be, I do wonder how Smack Down would affect Chromastone if it hit him in flight?

Technically that would actually be more in favor as it would move gigalith away from using moves hat Chromastone would be able to absorb and instead focus on non-energy based attacks

Both Smack Down and Gravity would cancel out Chromastone's flight

Funnily enough due to Weak Armor Gigalith will be getting faster and faster the longer the fight goes on and it has Automatize to make that happen even faster, so the longer the fight goes on Gigalith will bcome more mobile than Chromastone

Also theres the fact that Chromastone's attacks are made of Ultraviolet light, the same kind of light that Gigalith absorbs, meaning Chromastone's main method of attack will be equally useless here
