Looking at her profile, she absorbs power the same way she absorbs souls: through contact. And power seems to be used as energy in this case (she's a succubus after all), so even if she gets it off, soul suck is still better.

Because the Vibe effects are subjective. Peach is the only one who gets the fire and invincibility. Anyone else w/ rage just gets stronger, braver, faster, or gets the ability to create earthquakes. Or just attacks angrily.
