Predator: They are not "far superior"

If you're referencing Celtic and the Wolf, those were explicitly depicted as larger and stronger than the average Predator on purpose (stronger but not larger in Wolf's case). On top of the fact that the Xenomorphs in AVP and its sequel were different from the Xenomorphs in Alie, Aliens, Alie 3, Alien': Resurrection and Alien': Isolatio (strikingly similar to the Covenant Protomorph in reproductive virility, however), and were also weaker and smaller. They are actually about dead even (Again, excluding Wolf and Celtic predator) with Xenomorphs, if not struggling a little bit where a Xeno would have no trouble. Remember, that immediately after Grid breaks free from the razor net, the Alien tackles and pins Celtic with essentially zero effort whereas the Celtic was using every bit of his strength and still struggling a bit to swing Grid around. Likewise, Grid impaled and lifted Gill with no effort, and after head-bitten, is tossed aside like a ragdoll toy - far more easily than Celtic lifting Grid (and even Wolf lifting the Midget Xenomorphs) which, in the context of the filming of that scene indicates an endeavor of great significance for the young Predator, more so than the way Gill is trivially impaled and thrown aside by Grid's tail. Ergo, while Predators make use of advanced technology and physique far superior to that of a human to eliminate their Xenomorph prey, Xenomorphs - even Drones - have the unnarmed, raw strength advantage. An unarmed Predator would not be able to overpower a Xenomorph without his armor and weaponry (unless we're talking about Berserker Yautja, but that's an entirely different discussion), and would quickly have his head lopped off or impaled to death on the Xenomorph's tail, pinned down and head-bitten, or receive a death-dealing throat-slash from the Alien's claws or tail. There is simply no way for a Predator to overpower a Xenomorph unless he were to somehow sneak up on it, and even then he would almost be certainly eliminated by the Xenomorph's tail. The simple fact that the Xenomorph even has such a powerful tail pretty much means an unarmed hand-to-hand fight between a Xenomorph and a Yautja would go to the Xenomorph by default. They probably have more musculature tissue in their tail than a fully-grown male body-builder has in his entire body.

It's a common misconception, most people in general think the Predator is stronger by default because of their technology and their similarity to humans. Most people go their entire lives thinking Predators are stronger. It's super understandable and a very common error. But look at this way - Predators don't NEED the extra strength, they've got shuriken, smart disks, plasma cannons, interstellar travel, armor plating, mines, etc. They also have civilization, culture, heritage, and intellectualism. Something no ALIEN has besides maybe the Queen. It's like humans vs. chimpanzees. Humans can outperform chimps on average and in general in most ways, like running a marathon, but if you piss one off it'll rip your gorram face off and shit down your neck.

Well the lifting level itself wont change since they're scaled based off an actual feat they performed, but if that's true I guess the wording could be reworked or removed.

Remember, though. Lifting a fully-armed and armored Predator off of the ground with the tail, before killing him and tossing him aside with greater ease than the Celtic swung Grid, which was largely due to the momentum of the creature's own body mass hurtling through the air. Furthermore, Gill was idle for a while as Grid noticed Celtic, squalling at him. So the weight of the Armored Predator (which I'm assuming is a bit more than the Xenomorph), as dead weight, represented more physical resistance than an animated Xenomorph caught by the ankle by a Predator even more physically imposing than the average, with both hands, using every bit of his strength to grip the creature and swing him around, letting most of his opponent's body weight doing the work for him.

They are of comparable strength levels (the nerfed ones from AVP and AVPR anyway), but Xenomorphs do have the edge in terms of raw physical prowess.
