Shenron mode isn't summoning. It's a mode where he gains the powers of shenron. Shenron is clearly shown in the video to be granting him his power. Then disappears from the fighting stage , as he becomes a part of Goku

Xenoverse is the continuation of heroes because Demigras death in xenoverse is said to have taken place a few years ago in the crack of time.

In DLC 6, there is going to be a thing where "some" mentors can learn the future warriors abilities. The preview images shows Goku can have his abilities and super souls.

Not all mentors, only the top tier ones will have the top tier abilities
