Possible Kid Icarus Upgrades

Someone did a calc of this feat.


If accepted Pyrrho and everyone who scales (which is a lot of characters) would be upgraded to small planet level.

It's a lot easier to see in full size, with the scaling part taking up my entire monitor, and then some.

I just want to know where they got the idea to use the size of Australia for it. Is there any statements about it being continent sized?

Using Australia seems fine for the size, so it seems fine to me.

I dunno if we can use it, though. 45 Zettatons is the higher end of Small Planet level, like Thomas the Hype Engine said. That's a huge gap from Island level.

Well, if the calc group accepts this, somebody needs to create a new blog post that copies the calculation and its scaling images, while giving credit to the original author.

That calc needs to checked and revaluated along with a check of the scenes. Hades one of strongest characters in the verse said that he will wipe out a country or two, which is much lower than Small Planet level, making it an outlier.

That's like saying Frieza's High 5-A feat is an outlier because Cell's self-destruct would only blow up Earth. A character saying they'll perform this level of destruction does not remotely make other feats outliers.

I'm all for having the calc reevaluated by someone willing to do so, but I agree with Ever's logic.

It's been a thing time and again on this wiki that the narrative's (and thus the author's) perceptions of how strong the verse should be often do not coincide with the actual magnitude of their feats.

On second thought, perhaps a state like Texas would be better to use for the size? It doesn't look that particularly big, even by Australia standards.
