Right is right, and wrong is wrong. There is no other way out. I've been here for two days and none of you have been able to refute any of my arguments:
The novel is canon via Oda's own declaration (If everything published in the one piece magazine is canonical, this declaration would not have been necessary). And in that same novel the ace's busoshoku was never confirmed, and even if it was, the databook that came out after the novel was published denies this kind of haki to ace (RETCON).
There are only two ways to confirm the canonicity of the Boichi adaptation: declaration by the Oda, or total fidelity to the novel and databook.
Unfortunately, adaptation does not meet either of these two requirements. That said, I totally disagree with this CRT.
Out of respect for moderation, I will only answer intelligent quotes to avoid weariness. If you don't get a response, please try a little harder.

Anyway, so it seems like the general consensus is that the Adaptation could be considered canon / secondary canon, nobody thus far as agreed with Child for obvious reasons. I suppose the thread could remain open for awhile before we wrap things up here.
