normal oneThis is alola grimer ir normal grimer?
It just says that ever drop of a grimer creates another one and uses this as a justificativa for regeneration also, só I would say at least fast enough to bem usefull in combatWhat is the timeframe for Grimer's Duplication?

Idk if Liteick would be even able to fight smelling grimmer for the looks of the pokedexMade of congealed sludge. It smells too putrid to touch. Even weeds won’t grow in its path.
A lot of Litwick's moves are Ranged, though, & its profile lists it as having Levitation, so couldn't it just fly upwards away from Grimer's stench? It's stated as smelling too bad to touch, so just get out of touch range.Idk if Liteick would be even able to fight smelling grimmer for the looks of the pokedex
Well, grimmer can also poison litwick by touching It thanks to poison touch that seen more dangerous in this caseA lot of Litwick's moves are Ranged, though, & its profile lists it as having Levitation, so couldn't it just fly upwards away from Grimer's stench? Also, due to Flame Body, attacking in close range is dangerous for Grimer, too.
Yes, but given Litwick's options, would it really go into touch range?Well, grimmer can also poison litwick by touching It thanks to poison touch that seen more dangerous in this case
Pain Split can actually help deal with Poison & might be in-character as a way to steal life force. Light Manipulation being in-character might mean Confuse Ray would be in-character early, which could hinder Grimer using Poison Gas early.Grimmer has a lot of options to deal with long range, moves like poison gas could end the battle to liteick sinse grimmer can outlast without Much problem
You're thinking of Gastro Acid, which a Kantonian Grimer like the one in this match doesn't learn.and coukd use moves like acid spray to make flame body disapear,
Unsure if Mud-Slap makes the range, plus, it might be less in-character since it's throwing dirt instead of actual sludge. (& it isn't the strongest move to begin with.)and he has atacks like mud-slap and fling to make for the range and type efectiviness
But these Grimers are formed from drops of the original Grimer. So even assuming a combat applicable timeframe, since they're likely very new, & not as strong as the original, & may not have much starting mass to go off of.And we stille have thee multiplication problem

Acid Spray is a 40 base power damaging move that drops the victim's Sp. Def by 2 stages; Acid Spray wouldn't get rid of Flame Body.

Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Inferno, Heat Wave, etc. aren't Super-Effective, but they are strong.

Also, it happens as Grimer loses parts of its body, which not all of Litwick's moves may trigger (Night Shade is illusions, several others would be fire.).
Arguably, Flame Burst is useful here, since it hits the main target, & does splash damage to anything adjacent.
Hum... Fair, changing votes to the candleNot to mention Heat Wave hits all targets, so even if Grimer multiplies, Litwick has a reliable way to damage all of them, especially when Heat Wave is a pretty strong move for it to learn
Current votes seem to be:4/1?

I mean, grace period aside, but I'm sure not gonna exercise my option to present a counter-debate during the 24 hour grace period, lol.Litwick wins, I'll move to the next round today
You canI mean, grace period aside, but I'm sure not gonna exercise my option to present a counter-debate during the 24 hour grace period, lol.
Yeah, but I don't plan to, lol. I mean, I'm the one who proposed much of the reasoning for Litwick winning anyway, lol.You can
