Well I just rewatched the scene, apparently your character and Lillie just wait until night (Moon version) or day (Sun version) to summon the legendary. I just remembered the scene wrong. I thought I had something. Sorry.

I like how Solgaleo and Lunala are the only Pokemon whose PokeDex entries are considered Hyperbole or Metaphor.

That's partially because others are written in a very "matter of the fact" way, while theirs are written in a more mystical, metaphorical way. I do think Lunalala's dex entry sounds more plausible, but without a timeframe or anything it won't be usable.
