Pokemon Discussion Thread - Red & Blue arc

Finally got to read this completely. Very well researched. Have couple of nitpicks here and there (some redundancy on certain phrases or grammar errors), but overall nice read.

Wondering how this will affect revisions from now on.
What we need right now is what we should do with Arceus Dimension.

Also the Egg at minimum gets Range the size of the Paldea Region (since they are being brought to life from sketches across the region) and some sort of Clairvoyance (to see the sketches in the first place)

It seems all the sketches so far were made in Zone Zero, so the range might be limited. Clairvoyance, possibly. Subjective Reality pretty op tho.

This means, every single thing humans can imagine can become a pokemon.

Theoretically each Pokémon could have 18 different Types via Paradoxes

So there might be a fire type Bulbasaur, water type Charmander and fire type squirtle

I willbe pissed if Ash gets negged by a level 5 Fuecoco in Paldea
If the writer truly wants to reset Ash, at least make him tank an attack by a legendary Pokémon.
(People still hate Ash being reset by an attack from Zekrom but at least that gives one good explanation why his skills worsens during Best Wishes at season 5)

That explains why Pikachu got weaker (kinda), but not why Ash got dumber.

It lost its abstraction as soon as it became a Pokémon.

What I'm trying to say is that, for instance, Ghost Types are weak to Dark Type attacks, but actual Ghosts in Pokémon are immune to any attacks that aren't spiritual. Still, Ghost Types can interact with the grudge tho, as they're fond of eating abstract things like emotions and dreams. So they will get abstract NPI

It seems as soon as they become Pokémon, they lose their true nature.

Well, that's disappointing if true.
However... I don't really know if we should believe so blindly in a random twitter post.
(Also the info that the paradox pokémon are a product of fantasy comes from reputable leakers)

Pokémon stories are supposed to "be adapted to respect as much as possible other countries' cultures", Arceus still can't even be called a god in Pokémon anime and all references of it being the creator of the world were removed from the Arceus Chronicle adaptation for example, creating a totally new backstory just to respect China seems extreme, but if there's one series that I can see doing that would be Pokémon.

Arceus Chronicle?

Arceus Chronicle?
The Localization of the "The Hallowed God, Arceus" Amazon special, it was adapted as "Arceus Chronicles". In the very beginning of the movie there's a line about "There's a Pokémon that is hallowed as a god for being said that it created the world, Arceus", while the localization changed it to "There's a Pokémon said to have existed before all the others, Arceus".

Ok, from what I have read it seems that time travel stories are "banned" in China only if they have to do with something of the history of the country (ex: time traveler was the reason why China won x war in the past).
In all other cases there is no problem with them.

It's weird, why would GF completely restructure the plot line to fit one region. They've never done it before and it doesn't make sense to do it now. It can't simply be time traveling
