Much like fixing a Verse pages organisation and interface to prevent extremely long scroll pages, you dont need a CRT to 'stop using uncredited and unauthorized fanart'. CRT are based on the actual content of the pages, and less so organising things into tabbers to make the page 5x less long

Although it's still up there will loads more images that do need to eventually be changed whenever anyone is up for it, You are still using uncredited fanart, which isn't allowed (or at least shouldnt be), so please for the future at least stick to officially released art. Thats literally all

Also this is NOT my intention and I am not here to plug your CRTs.

It was never meant to be an argument, or a complaint over 'nothing'. Its simply asking for you not to reverse edits that have been active for ages now with no issue, and also to not keep adding onto the stolen unauthorised fanart for icons which will have to be changed whenever the wiki wants to enforce it. Theres tons of official art for Pokemon, Anime screencaps etc, as well as the TCG which should count? That might need discussion but otherwise yeah, this isn't being brought up for my personal benefit

Well, no, i'm not trying to do that because

A) Its already been talked about before on this wiki not to use uncredited/unauthorised fanart. This has been a thing on other verses
B) Regardless if policy allows it eithher, it shouldn't be encouraged out of respect for the artist. Especially for Pokemon which has more than enough official art compared to stuff like Book Verses where its more warranted.
C) Pokemon Icons have been like that ever since the Verse started out on this site, and its an insanely huge chore that i'm not trying to impose right now, cause i sure dont have the time, idk abt you.

All i'm asking is that from now on, for any new pokemon profiles people want to make on the site and add to the verse page, they use Official art as opposed to Pazdera continuing the issue that is stealing fanart. Its the same reason the site keeps very old and outdated pages on this wiki, but will delete any new pages of that calibre. Its plugging the problem.

Honestly there shouldnt even need to be any sort of thread to change these images. Should just be able to change them whenever we want. Its not related to stats, its just quite literally ridding the Verse page of the dated stuff.

Yeah thats fine (Hard to tell that you agree when you were thumbs-upping Pazdera's initial reply about me complaining about everything but its w/e), though it most definitely already the wiki's preferred intention to move away from using uncredited fanart. The Verse page is just from the past in that regard.

We can maybe talk about what kind of images they should be replaced to? For the sake of consistency, they could just be the standard official renders of the Pokemon, though feels a bit boring. Perhaps custom made backgrounds (and inclusion of the pre-evos if every Species page needs to include the pre-evo form stats)
TCG art should be fine to count since it is official product (perhaps we can credit those artists in the image name itself since theres a wide variety of them if we do?)

thats more what I was thinking, I havent checked every pokemon page but standarzing the type of image used like you said using offical renders or somthing else. But just having it all be one type or from one source (i dont know how to phrase it best). But that would be a pretty huge task.

Im not changing the content of the pages? Im literally just separating the Pokemon regions by tabbers lol. All the original content is there, it's just streamlined so the Verse page isnt long to scroll through and easier to overall access

Correct, they were, but that wouldn't mean it wasn't an attack even if they didn't.

That's still changing the content, and I was talking about the pictures. Tabbers do horrible shit to verse pages, just look at Dragon Ball (Games).

Nobody is attacking you. If anything, this was instigated by you rolling back a change that I made like, a year ago probably, out of nowhere pretending like you need a CRT to make any QoL edit

Changing pictures stolen uncredited fanart to official images would only need to be hashed out if anything. You dont need a CRT to change an image if its blatantly better to use it (which it is. Stealing fanart is immoral)

That verse page looks fine? and the type of tabber used is completely different. Your only reason for wanting to get rid of the tabbers is so that the Pokemon verse page becomes much larger in scroll-size (as you said in your edit), so it can look big, and thats a Quantity over Quality change.

Either way can you just accept that uncredited fanart isnt viable for this wiki and quit doing it? You don't have to edit anything now, or even try to fix anything, just find official sources.

I get that you're trying to appeal to emotions here, but you're really just getting offended on the behalf of people who don't care and never will. You do need a CRT to change hundreds of images, though.

No, I said that tabbers make the verse page look smaller, unnecessarily so. No, just a quantity change, and even much bigger verses like Marvel and DC don't use tabbers for this reason.

I will do no such thing. In fact I was considering letting you edit the icons if you dropped the whole tabber thing, until I checked and found out you went behind our backs and changed it back anyway, an act which you're lucky I'm not claiming vandalism. This whole conversation has done nothing but convince me further that your presence on this wiki is a net negative to the Pokemon franchise and I will no longer work with you on anything.
 
Well keeping this brief because obviously as if this is getting anywhere

-I cant turn on Masters if i never thought it was canon in the first place. Neither does the majority of the people here, at least to the point that it overrides the main canon like you are trying to suggest
-Artists do care if their fanart is used and not credited. Its common courtesy. A lot are just made unaware of it or dont know about this sites existence to begin with.
-Marvel and DC are in different boats in the sense most of their characters dont come from segregated generations, and its also ordered in alphabetical order as their navigation choice. We arent going to be doing that with Pokemon so its better to not make it a scrollfest when we dont need to. Verse page formatting is dependent on how much content a verse has and how that is categorised.
- Its not up to you regardless, and we were never working together to begin with. You aren't a mod or anyone of authority. And also that wouldn't fly as vandalism either. The mods would be more interested in the fact you're stealing people's fanart without credit or authorisation when there are official options, and actively still saying you're going to do it

Just under an hour ago, Day 1 of the Pokemon VGC (Video Game Champions) North American Internationals Championships has BEGUN!

Unlike many streamed VGC tournaments, which have Day 1 on Saturday & Day 2 on Saturday, Interantionals are 3 days long, with Sunday being reserved for Championships, with the results of all of the official Pokemon tournaments (Go, Unite, TCG & then VGC.) for all divisions (Junior, Senior & then Masters.) being shown on 1 stream in 1 day!

This is the last streamed tournament before Worlds in August!

The first stream match should begin soon!

My rematch CRT was meant to fix that, but nobody was interested.

We aren't just building the picture of a verse's scaling. We're also building an army.

Picture the protagonists and the Rivals as the Jedi, and the Gym Leader, Elite Four, Champions, Frontier Brains, and so on as all being clone troopers. The Jedi are real strong, but they can't win a war on their lonesome. They need the clone troopers to back them up. Every new profile for Pokemon is a new trooper. Every new trooper we add to the gigantic cosmic pot we call VSBW gives us a higher and higher chance to win the "wars".

That's why it's so important to make new profiles.
