I'd like to say I'm with Matt on the whole Riordan's Schroeder thing.
I'd also like to point out we'd have to find other feats if this is really a matter of the earth being flat and stars not being stars. The Luminosity calc was based on existing stars, so, we can't apply them to Flat earthery.
