Hm.. what are Laser's thoughts about redoing the calc? I'm up for it but it is their thread.

He is 76.3cm to classics 76.5. weird but not as bad as some people calced him atI will say, him being shorter than Classic Sonic seems weird.
According to Paramount's input here, he's 62 pounds or ~28 kg compared to Sonic Channel's official modern weight for him being 35 kg, so him being proportionally shorter there outside of the mobile game is more supported?Though I will say, him being shorter than Classic Sonic seems weird. Didn't someone else note that he was around the same size or maybe slightly shorter than Modern Sonic in the mobile game?
This scene is PIS. A 9-B character (or even a 10-B character) would be able to break a bottle. He was aiming to knock the guy at the bar with a bottle and went “huh, am I crazy? This is this suppose to break, right?” in response when he couldn’t. And again did no damage to the guy was he sped up his punches.
Not PIS if his base doesn’t have an AP feat over bottle breaking. Otherwise, Sonic is a stone wallerThis scene is PIS. A 9-B character (or even a 10-B character) would be able to break a bottle.
He literally swats away bullets and missiles near the end of the movie. That would be impossible for a 10-B character to doNot PIS if his base doesn’t have an AP feat over bottle breaking. Otherwise, Sonic is a stone waller
Sonic athletic abilities doesn't need his AP to be strong, mostly his Dura.Apart from being able to swat away bullets and missiles Sonic’s athletic abilities obviously aren’t something a 10-C character could possess.
Also he’s shown easily overpowering humans in the Sonic 2 trailer.
He might be 3'3 this movieAlso, Sonic seems... bigger, in the Sonic Movie 2 trailer?
So... Sonic grew up? (That was fast. The Movies might not last long as I thought)He might be 3'3 this movie
No he didn’t, he overpowered him in his normal stateHe's overpower the guy in the truck when he was charged up
The guy has pushed out the car (Which doesn't translate to Ap) or the first guy he took out with his Spin Dash, which does power up his base?No he didn’t, he overpowered him in his normal state
Actually, jumping unnaturally high requires a lot of strength and can be translated to AP.Sonic athletic abilities doesn't need his AP to be strong, mostly his Dura.
Like, Tom effects the Badnik more than Sonic(not using his speed)
That’s true… wait, when did it wore off in the movie? Sonic was shown to have access to his super speed while Dr. Robotnik was interrogating Tom.Sonic was weakened in this scene.
I’m aware it’s possible to do. Hm… does striking strength translate to jumping?
Sonic’s base… never directly attacked a Badnik and damaged one without using it’s own missiles. It’s why I’m hesitant on scaling Sonic’s base AP above Tom till whatever is shown in the 2nd movie.Did Sonic even attack the Badnik even once? It looked like he just rode on it and it tried to shake him off. If so, how would we be able to tell if Tom affects them more or not if Sonic never attacks them directly?
Not sure (probably by the bar scene/car chase) but he was clearly far less capable than he was in the Transamerica Pyramid scene where he casually invalidated like a dozen Badniks. That’s true… wait, when did it wore off in the movie? Sonic was shown to have access to his super speed while Dr. Robotnik was interrogating Tom.
Yeah, it’s the strength of Sonic’s legs propelling him into the air.I’m aware it’s possible to do. Hm… does striking strength translate to jumping?
I don’t think him moving fast is or should be treated as an amp…Sonic’s base… never directly attacked a Badnik and damaged one without using it’s own missiles. It’s why I’m hesitant on scaling Sonic’s base AP above Tom till whatever is shown in the 2nd movie.
Of course, what I mean by base is Sonic not using his Super Speed or electricity.
I mean, does his leg strength translate to his fists?Yeah, it’s the strength of Sonic’s legs propelling him into the air.
Most likely. Tho... judging by the trailer, Knuckles caught Sonic Spin Dash, which is shown to be stronger than his Base during the Robotnik Car chase scene on the Highway.Base Sonic is gonna harm Knuckles in the second film which will make things uncomplicated
Yes. I see no reason why his arms and legs wouldn’t be in the same Tier.I mean, does his leg strength translate to his fists?
Whelp, you are right. Thanks for pointing that out Mav. I had misinterpreted the OP and thought we were going to tackle Base Sonic's tier this time around.Just realized this thread is about applying an upgrade to Amped Sonic rather than Base Sonic’s tier so I have no idea why we debated that
That works out perfectly. Is it called Eggpod not Egg Mobile?@ElixirBlue How’s this structuring for Eggman’s profile sound?
Tier: 9-C physically, 9-B with Badniks | High 8-C (Laser’s Calc)
Key: Base | Eggpod
It’s just called “the Prototype” in the film but the CGI modeling schematics refer to it as the EggpodThat works out perfectly. Is it called Eggpod not Egg Mobile?
Then we’d have to go with that :VIt’s just called “the Prototype” in the film but the CGI modeling schematics refer to it as the Eggpod
There might be an FTL calc in the works, with how Dr. Robotnik made it back to Green Hill's Human World (I'm not saying a blah name like Earth for reasons). There's a novelization to work off of, tho, I'm not involved of handling the calcs to give details.Man, I wish I wasn't late to this thread, especially since I'm looking forward to more Paramount Sonic stuff coming up soon
Also worth mentioning that Sonic was messing around here and its not like he was striking it multiple timesSonic was weakened in this scene.
YepWait, I'm sorry, this movie got a novelization too?
