Both characters are in character but willing to kill.

In stats, they are quite even. Papyrus, however, is much quicker, being Massively Hypersonic+ while Link is Hypersonic+.

However, since they are in character, I'd have to say that even though Papyrus is determined to kill, his intelligence is... well... stupid. Mentally challenged.... Possibly ********?

Even as a child, Link is a master in combat and puzzle solving ( Papyrus, be damned ) and can defeat huge monsters with incredible powers comparable to those of Link. He is a extremely skilled swordsman, archer and tactician even as a child, and is far smarter than Papyrus.

Anyways, Papyrus will attempt to attack Link and Link will get hurt due to not being able to dodge even with slower speed, possibly blocking and resisting a few attacks through his shield, however Papyrus will fail to realize Link's attacks or will do a stupid mistake mid battle and give Link the opportunity he needs. Similar to Chara, Link will take Papyrus' low guard into count and attack him with a swift strike to the stomach, cutting him in half, or cutting his head off with a precise cut. Link does have the AP to do it, and even being slower, I do believe he takes this high diff.
