I should also note, if neither is fine I can drop out of the tournament-- it's much better to have a tournament where one guy doesn't bring guns too big that are technically within the rules
Well, I don't think this is really necessary, in this case for powers and abilities that are abused because they are technically within the rules, you could do the following: Simply put a time limit in which this power is restricted, like 10 minutes for the opposing team to have the opportunity to adapt to the battle and give it an opportunity.

Yeah, in this case it's that Deathwing has it built in time for that to happen, while with SC... well the biggest issues are mid regen and type 8 that can be countered by destroying what makes type 8 work

For SC? It's based on Zerg Hatcheries, Hives, and Lairs... across an entire sector of space. Plus some on Zerus some 60 million light-years away from the rest. As long as just one survives, the composite will respawn in a few minutes, and can easily return to the battlefield in a few hours via both Void Travel and Protoss teleportation

Void passives are life drain and deconstruction that take a bit, but are lethal in a few minutes.
Psionic storm is some of the most blatant Very High hax options out there, though they take a bit to come out for Artanis(Who I'd use for my composite cause hes my favorite SC Character), if he thinks he'll be overwhelmed they're coming out and they are layered Mind destruction, Atom destruction, and Technological manipulation that ***** over all tech and shuts it off.(Keep in mind that this has a several hundred meter AoE to it)
Kinetic Blast is just blatant Mind destruction on a gesture
In general if there's a flavor of mind fuckery StarCraft has it in layers and it's almost definitely thought or gesture-based
