According to this video, Lucio's sound blasts are 270 decibels in power. thus, via the calcs, each pull of the trigger should be equivalent to a city-level strike or above. This is per blast, meaning that Lucio can be upgraded to 7-B or High 7-B in attack potency, which other characters can scale to in terms of AP and durability. Edit: realizing that the blasts itself would be less powerful, this can probably be downgraded to 8-A / 8-B

This is the same guy who says Genji's double-jump can crack the Earth's crust and Zarya's ultimate has more energy than the galaxy.

Real life science should not be used with scenes clearly not meant to portray real life physics.

Yeah....the science from those guys is shoddy at best, iirc they also tried to do math for Zarya's gun being Galaxy level and Genji being Continent level because he can double jump

I honestly think this video is bogus to be honest. The reason being is that this user's same logic implies that one would have to be Multi-Continental to Double Jump, which is quite frankly ridiculous.

TO DEBUNK DOUBLE JUMP AND BLACK HOLE

-Genji's double jump can be attributed to his cybernetic body, probably a booster of some sort

-Zarya's graviton surge is clearly not a real black hole

The problem here is applying this here means it must be applied to all similar sonic weapons in fiction, which would create ludicrous scaling and a lot of weird problems. I brought up Warhammer 40,000 back in the Zarya thread, and something very similar applies here.

Regardless of whether or not sound-based AP can be quantified, it's still a massive outlier in the context of Overwatch.

I was under the assumption Batman was upgraded due to a very specific canon value being given for the decibel level produced by his weaponry, hence more accurate conclusions can be drawn from it, as opposed to trying to randomly determine the output of fictional sound weaponry.

Because, again, this would be a pretty ludicrous upgrade to a vast number of verses simply because of sound weaponry existing.
