Right, so, uh...

Displacer Beast being able to make light duplicates of itself should be all the advantage it needs here. Given this, its Stealth Mastery which should help it avoid the big banging chest ape over there, and its slight AP advantage, and I'm giving it to the D&D creature. If only King Kong would be as intelligent as, say, his MonsterVerse variant, even then he may have had a shot. Unfortunately...

Kong does have enhanced senses but idk if it helps with illusions and stealth stacked.

Keep in mind that the Displacer Beast has Enhanced Senses as well, on top of its Stealth Mastery. Kong is gonna have a really hard time trying to find the real Beast while it will have no problem taking down the ape, particularly if it uses something akin to guerrilla tactics to wear it down over time.

While maybe it's possible for Kong to do something, it's much more likely for the beast to win, pretty low diff.

So eh what would be King Kong's reach here?
Because in theory he should have a range advantage and hit back before the Displacer Beast escapes it, now it ain't that likely but it's possible

What kind of enhanced senses does Kong have? If it scales to real Gorillas, they apparently have only a slightly better smell, which wouldn't be that useful.

That said, big monke is bigger, has better stamina and a bit higher ap, but doesn't have the means to get past the illusions.

I don't know who has the higher LS, but that is relatively important.

The Beast can take advantage of the battlefield thanks to darkvision. stealth mastery and the obvious illusions, slowly wearing down Harambe King Kong or just aim for his throat or other weak spots.

Winston Kong could win if he manages to somewhat catch the beast and pin or hug it to death, assuming it has enough LS, but I don't see it very likely.

I vote the Displacer Beast.
