The vessel "ceases to exist" in the sense that their body becomes the Kama user's in a literal sense. They literally transform into the Otsutsuki. The victim's body becomes that of the Otsutsuki's. It's just Possession and Biological Manipulation. It'd be EE if we had statements about the victim's very soul ceasing to exist or something. And it's not physical EE either, since the body doesn't cease to exist, it just changes its form so to speak.

But there was nothing left of the vessel's existence, Jigen's body was completely erased. Isn't that e.e.? There was nothing left of Jigen

Yes, because his body was hijacked by Isshiki. He was transformed, not erased in a literal sense. Ya'll seriously need to brush up on flowery language. Not every thing is meant to be taken so literally.

Iirc, Jigen(the monk) was still sorta conscious during his battle with Naruto and Sasuke. Infact, he shed a tear after his body began to break down in that battle. So yeah, this isn't existence erasure.
