OOF (character death thread)

This guy´s brother that´s named Claus dies at the end of the game as he decides to take off the helmet as he hears the noises of his own dead mom to stop being brainwashed, only to die in front of Lucas.
 
I mean, it's not like it's a suprise if you played X and nobody in the classic series was there.

Can I just say how much I hate people being melodramatic over death

I mean yeah, I get it, it's a big deal, but quiet deaths hit me, and I'd bet many others, way harder, cause, it's not overdone and too dramatic to really feel for properly.

In fact, 3 of the links I shared were indeed quiet deaths.

[GURREN LAGANN SPOILERS] did get an explosion to the face, but he just powered on through and kept going until he couldn't go anymore. And the second he bled out, the noise ceased and silence fell. Save for the rain and monologuing. Which in comparison to someone screaming their head off, is rather stinking quiet.

[TRIGUN ANIME SPOILERS] had his final moments alone in a Church, talking to the Lord for the first real time, grieving about how he hasn't done enough and wailing asking why he has to go, then just... Dies.

[COWBOY BEBOP SPOILERS] shoots his friend, and ends up just having the whole world go quiet as he walks down the stairs and says "bang" before falling to the ground.
