One Spot for the 5th: Tomeo Misumi vs. The Nameless

General resistance to status effect inducement (it also have increased resistances). If it works like Kappel's SR then is possible that he is straight out immune to that (due having gnosis 35).

Not really a status effect... unless subjective reality is considered SEI in the anima verse for some reason.

Depends of the nature: Kappel (or people related to The Dragon) control a piece of the Nexus of Souls, the concept of fantasy, so their effect is purely based in existential power and only creature of elevated gnosis can ignore it (no resistance); however, there's few magic spell that can do that, as they aren't existential powers, they are considered SEI, and can generally be resisted as they aren't that powerful.

Ok, see this spell for example: The Fake Reality, its in spanish, but basically can turn any lie that the spellcaster says into reality, from a disaster and a minor comflict to create an entity with backstory. The MR (the capability of resist supernatural effects) target the "strongest" being involved in the lie, however, beings of elevated gnosis are unaffected by it.

I'm actually waiting for more arguments to be made, I guess I'll start: Starting, first thing it will happen is that Tomoe would have to resist the Combat Aura, a difference from most SEI in the game, no matter how much one can be resistent to magic (or supernatural in general), mental inducements of physical prowless, as one use it presence value to resist it. In case of failing it effects vary from decreasing reactions to knock out.

Honestly still really confusing (Because of the use of so many verse-exclusive terms), so basically she would have to resist Mind Manipulation? Because her resistance to that is in the Tens of Millions.

By equalizing, she should be capable to, however, that doesn't mean that she will resist it. But the resistance to mind manipulation (Psyquic Resistance [PsR] in verse) wouldn't help to avoid the effects of Combat Aura, as one use its base Presence (intrinsic worth of the creature in reality), however, if one have elevated levels of Composture is more likely to avoid or reduce its effects.

Also, how much people is affected by something do not means is stronger (elevated check), as range and difficulty are independents.

Now, after the Combat Aura comes the Aura of Emptiness, that speed and ofensive/defensive abilities, this time depending of Tomoe's fornitude (take Nameless as reference, he would have a 35% of chances to not being affected by it).

Never new if Tomoe use magic or not (the profile say yes but people say no), but if any, anything within Nameless aura (500 m) will have their magical, psionic, ki and summoning abilities decreased; is not passive, but is automatic, so the minor action and Nameless can decide to activate it.

Well Tomoe is resistant to statistics reduction.

Also, she uses magic, but her mist abilities (Which make up most of her P&A list, and all of her notable attacks list) are not magic.

Can nameless resist Dragon Eyes? Petrification, Soul Disease, Instant Death, Fear Inducement, Mind Manipulation, Paralysis Inducement, Curse Manipulation?

In short, yes, I would link the blog but I'm using the phone. Even if death inducement works, if it doesn't completely erase Nameless he will come to life shortly. For reference, the Nameless use a cursed weapon and is affected by it.

Depending of how her resistances works, it could be either nothing special or a bonus: if she resiste via will, inner or raw power then her resistances aren't nothing special (minor bonus), but if she is specially resistent to powers (although I should known the nature of that) then it's means she has an additional bonus and is more likely to avoid the effect.

Also, "How her resistance works?" is a bit of a confusing question.

She is able to resist a Dragon's Roar which has an effect of making people weaker.

Edit:

In addition to all of the other effects a dragon's roar has.

Reverse scaling from High 6-B (from Sigma, a meteorite that was going to kill all life in Gaia), but it can be the higher-end in the calc from Rudraskha.

So...like, appoximately where in 6-B?

Tomoe reverse scales from 96 teratons.

Edit:

Which she's not much weaker than.

Its more aboit the nature of the power: for example, if Dragon's Roar is Supernatural based then Nameless (or any character in general) can use its MR to defend itself. So, if anything that Tomoe has resisted is supernatural based, that do not necessary helps her from defending from Combat Aura (use presence as stated above) or Aura of Emptiness (it depends of fornitude).

Anything between 11.2 Teratons to below... baseline High 6-B.
That range is way too large..

Honestly I'm not sure what a Dragon Roar's effects come from, you would normally assume magic, but Tomoe's Mist abilities aren't magic....and it's never flat out stated...so idk.

So how does Nameless handle BFR? It's not completely in-character for Tomoe, but it's at least something she's done before.

Yeah, there are "holes" between tiers in Anima as there's no fetas between them. Its worst in lower tier, when there's no set value between 8-B and High 7-C.

Supernatural so not necessary means magic, it cover powers based in inner spiritual potential (or similar), one power can submit someone to MR without being magical (like Valkyrie for example).

Its the same for eveything: if its affect directly the body its PhR, if affect the mind or behavior its PsR, and if any supernatural effects then MR, either way, it can be resisted (in case of Nameless, his MR is superior compared to the other ones).

However, if she BFR by a spell, it could be notable, but how powerful could be depends of her intelligence.

Main ability for magicians, warlock and such, the smarter one is, the more complexes spells can learn, so it can also launch simple spells in a more advanced degree. If mist its a innate ability of her (Power of Monster in verse), then it do not depends of intelligence.

Guess I'll share more input. Now, the most notable power of the Nameless: his right arm; considering that is constitutional based (Most death inducing abilities use MR) and that Tomoe have average stamina, do not seems she have possibilities to avoid it. Of course, he need physical contact, and if the damage if made by Necrom, then if even more likely she is one-shotted.
