To be safe I think we'd need a third to give their input.

Could you call some?Preferably 4 I think, to stay on the safe side. At least if this would cause massive changes to the verse.![]()
Hey, although I'm no longer a calc group member, I believe I can help out here. This isn't directly related to the two calcs in the OP, but it is related to earthquake calcs in One Piece so I hope it's okay to post here while we're waiting on more responses:
@KLOL506 You recommended here for the Whitebeard calculation that kinetic energy be used, just by plugging in the planet's mass, but it seems to me that wouldn't necessarily be accurate. If an earthquake was felt everywhere across a planet, it wouldn't require the mass of the entire planet would shake evenly - it would only require that the surface, or at least the crust, of the planet would be shaking. Peak ground velocity is how fast the ground at a particular site on the surface moves during shaking; not that the entire mass of the ground beneath that site moves at that same speed.
You're in luck, that calc will also likely be removed with this thread being accepted. Also, can someone explain this calculation to me? I'm reading it and it seems to be wrong, but I don't want to misunderstand anything before I type out a debunk![]()
.
So, about this...Also, what would we replace these calculations with if they are rejected?
I would be willing to recalculate themYou are allowed to summon other calc group members here to check if you wish, KingTempest.
Also, what would we replace these calculations with if they are rejected? And I did not notice DontTalk commenting here.![]()
As mentioned there would be a Content Revision Thread to discuss replacements for ratings. This thread is more for the viability of the calcs. So, about this...![]()
Thank you. That would be very appreciated.I would be willing to recalculate them.
Okay. What about Luffy's gigantic compression attack against Kaidou? As mentioned there would be a Content Revision Thread to discuss replacements for ratings. This thread is more for the viability of the calcs.
There currently isn't a calc for that; it wouldn't help anyway since nobody else in the verse scales to that yet.Okay. What about Luffy's gigantic compression attack against Kaidou?![]()
Okay. Is somebody willing to properly calculate that as well please? There currently isn't a calc for that; it wouldn't help anyway since nobody else in the verse scales to that yet.
That's literally in the OP. It gets Mw, AKA moment magnitude then converts it to Richter magnitude, and then converts it to Richter magnitude again. Problem is it assumes that firstly converted value is magnitude at distance.Okay, I'm a bit eager to type it out so I won't hesitate too much.
Richter Magnitude of Earthquake = (11.6868517619) + 6.399 + 1.66*log10((109270/110)((2π)/360)) = Magnitude 20.1425679
This doubles the results of the magnitude of the earthquake. 11.6 is the magnitude and then your math doubles it. 6.399 + 1.66*log10((715262.352474/110)((2π)/360)) is wrong, after some research I realise it comes from here. It is not meant to be applied after you already calculated ME from the tsunami, as that doubles the results.
I believe I'm correct here, but we'll see.
Edit: I double checked with agnaa and he's not sure what ME is as it's not on the earthquakes page.
I don't know its current size values but if they're provided I can recalc and propose it being calculated with rotational KE which avoids lowballing feat for sake of simplicity (as in previous calculation).Okay. Is somebody willing to properly calculate that as well please?![]()
One thing at a time Antvasima. We'll work on it.Okay. Is somebody willing to properly calculate that as well please?![]()
i think the replacement calculation wasn’t made yet for the new sizes so you’d have to make em from scratch, get that accepted and then be able to calc that featI don't know its current size values but if they're provided I can recalc and propose it being calculated with rotational KE which avoids lowballing feat for sake of simplicity (as in previous calculation).
Ax One Piece from the wiki because nothing about it can be scaled everSo what do we currently need to do here?![]()
We are currently waiting to get this Accepted (we have 2 @Damage3245 and @DontTalkDT ), but you requested at least 4, but no other calc member seems interested, even after being pinged. (Damaged Also prefer 3, just to be safe)So what do we currently need to do here?![]()
It is the most popular comicbook of all time, and likely one of the most epic, socially relevant, and high quality stories of all time as well.Ax One Piece from the wiki because nothing about it can be scaled ever
Okay. We also need to get new accepted versions of the relevant calculations before we apply the statistic revisions. We are currently waiting to get this Accepted (we have 2 @Damage3245 and @DontTalkDT ), but you requested at least 4, but no other calc member seems interested, even after being pinged.
So yeah, we are just waiting for more.
Don't be dramatic.Ax One Piece from the wiki because nothing about it can be scaled ever
We don't need that in order to proceed with revisions, but it'd be good for more calc group members to take a look at this.Okay. We also need to get new accepted versions of the relevant calculations before we apply the statistic revisions.
Should I ping calc group members again?![]()

Not really, most Calc members just prefer not to touch Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and DB.CGM drought it seems
They would scale to the currently accepted calculations, there's no point in locking this down until someone redoes the calculationsWe also need to get new accepted versions of the relevant calculations before we apply the statistic revisions.
It's not the content of the stories, I believe. It's the large fandoms and frequent arguments over them.Bleach I can understand, but why the others? Their stories mostly seem to be sympathetic and harmless.![]()
Ant. It's the fanbases. People can be freaking rabid about things, and the HST+Dragon Ball are at the peak of that list.Bleach I can understand, but why the others? Their stories mostly seem to be sympathetic and harmless.![]()
It has nothing to do with the stories, but rather the fanbase.Bleach I can understand, but why the others? Their stories mostly seem to be sympathetic and harmless.![]()
Maybe so but I’ve scrolled the Calc Threads in the past 2 weeks and usually they have little to no CGM involvement or approval, in CRTs the way you have thread mods hopping in and aiding + evaluating things, CGMs aren’t that frequent (and Calc evals take ages)Not really, most Calc members just prefer not to touch Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and DB.
Yeah this is unfortunately true, M3X used to be one of the best CGMs on here but goons tried to attack his calcs and pester him so much (esp for the light fang stuff) it made him ditch Naruto entirely :/It's not the content of the stories, I believe. It's the large fandoms and frequent arguments over them.
