Zoro hit his Kanabo upwards, then hit him with Asura before he could regain his footing. That is not a blitz at all. I could see someone saying that Zoro outpaced Kaidou, but stating that he blitzed him is wrong and using that as reasoning to scale above Thunder Bagua is even worse.

Not really a blitz. He "charged" Asura, Kaidou prepared a strike, and Zoro zoomed at him while he was readying the strike.
It's like Kachon said. He may have outpaced him, but not really blitzed.
And even if he did, this is only something he does with Asura which he doesn't often use.
