More like people are afraid to admit that Katakuri is as fast as Snakeman Luffy that blitzed Kaido because that shows current Zoro, Sanji, King, Marco cannot hit Katakuri because there's no chance they could blitz Kaido as fast as Snakeman did so they invented a lot of headcannon that that there are hidden panels of Luffy training his speed in Udon to keep Snakeman Luffy that blitzed Kaido and Katakuri speed as big as possible.

First act 1 Luffy wasn't using Future Sight.
Second, Jinbe tagged Akainu but cannot tag Katakuri. Akainu tried to attack Luffy and still got tagged by Jinbe. katakuri tried to attack Luffy and Jinbe failed to hit Katakuri. Katakuri>>>Akainu in speed.
Third: Aokiji wasn't chasing Luffy there. He was fighting WB one on one without the need to rush to attack Luffy.

Only Kizaru and Snakeman are faster than Katakuri.

Explain how Katakuri cannot blitz Akainu when weaker Jinbe tagged Akainu while stronger Jinbe cannot tag Katakuri? Both had the same scenarios? Attacking Luffy. Akainu took a long time to do it due to his poor CoO and speed while it took Katakuri seconds to reach Luffy and pin him down despite the interference not only Jinbe but Pedro and Bege as well.

1. Perospero = Sulong Carrot/Wanda < Sulongs who Jack stomped

2. Oven hurt Katakuri and I'll be damned if I let that dumbass Oven go anywhere near Scabbard tier.

3. Aokiji stomped Cracker
