Fear manip isn't new to the verse. Zoro had it for ages.
This type of fear manip however seems to cause others to basically die of fear. Later he's actively yelling at/glaring at Luffy and Luffy isn't phased at all. Luffy is the same guy who's willpower is so strong he resists basically every other "I do it and I win" hax for the most part (within his verse that is)

About the Cracker shit, i have no problems with it being a super strong fear hax that can kill fodder, but it being straight up death hax is a no IMO, that's a one time ability that was never elaborated upon, giving it some specific power just so that every one with at least a name can resist it (cause i know you guys would add resistance to death hax to Nami of all people) isn't the right path.

I've been following One Piece for so long now, and up until now, it's been awesome! I love the world building, the power systems, the villains, and many more! My favorite character is Sanji. I love the Strawhats so much. The reveal of Gear 5 was so cool, but despite this, I have one major Issue. Yamato. I hate Yamato so much. You were my top 1 favorite mangaka until you introduced the atrocity which is Yamato. She is ugly, she is weak, she is boring. I hate her so much. Oda, you have fallen off. Yamato is a piece of garbage. The only way for you to redeem the series is by killing her off. Thank you in advance.

Lol why would I be scared? This has been happening since Alabasta with Nico Robin. I went t Franky, the. Brook, then Jinbe, and now Yamato. Monster Trio will always be the top 3 fighters of the crew an it will always be Luffy and his two wings, Sanji and Zoro.
