One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

So like... Are the only ones, for the quest to find the one piece, Luffy, Shanks and blackbeard?

Momo said Zoro, Luffy, and the rest of the heroes were still recovering.

And Shanks commented that the "new shoots" that just changed pirating history were still exhausted from their feat.

And they all had multiple doctors close by to look after them. Meanwhile, the Beast Pirates didn't have that luxury while locked up in Udon.

Nobody who had fought in that Raid had fully recovered yet even after a week.

And the Anime definitely doesn't help your case. It literally states and emphasizes how mortally injured King and Queen are. Queen can't even stay transformed for more than a second. 💀

Buggy already claimed he was going after One Piece in Ch. 1082. But after Vegapunk's message that now has world-ending ramifications, along with Luffy, Blackbeard, Shanks, and Buggy, here are the other characters implied be involved in the race for One Piece.




Koby has already vowed because of Vegapunk's message he wouldn't let Luffy achieve his dream

Those aren't pirates tho to claim the OP, like Law, Kaido, Kidd, Big Mom... They are just the gate keepers or the gate unlockers

They're all contenders, it's not only pirates going after OP anymore. According to Vegapunk, the current fate of the world will be decided by whoever get their hands on OP. It's why Koby is now fully prepared to prevent Luffy from finding it first and becoming Pirate King.

I guess I meant more to find the OP and become the pirate king would only be Shanks, Luffy and blackbeard

like the worst generation were all rivals in a way while marines were just meddling in their business
 
Figarland Garling might become the greatest threat in the series (and as such obstacle to the One Piece) other than Imu, if he is as strong as Shanks and Mihawk on his own, and then receives regeneration and a gigantic demonic form from Imu on top of that.

Sure they weren't at 100% but they were not so fataly injured that they couldn't put a serious fight, and despite that Greenbull wasn't going all out either.

I doubt a full healthy Nine Scabbards together would had be able to do better, or at least it wouldn't had been an easy fight even with help from Yamato.

So frankly i don't think Sulong Neko and Sulong Inuarashi are relative to even the weakest of admirals, at least based on their previous performance.

But they were injured to the point that they couldn't put up a serious fight. Again, Queen couldn't hold onto his transformation for more than a second. Never said or implied Greenbull went all out against them, obviously he wouldn't need to with the horrible fighting shape they were in. King and Queen also didn't have all their weapons because they got broke by Zoro and Sanji in their fights. Aramaki beat an injured and nerfed King and Queen and it just wasn't impressive, no matter how you try to twist it. Idk how much better a fully recovered Nine Scabbards would've done against Aramaki, even with Yamato's and Momo's help, but I agree they still would've lost.

Frankly, I consider that whole fight more a Queen feat than anything.
