Shouldn't Gear 5 itself have resistance to resistance negation without the need of haki? Even though Kaido was tagging him with Haki Luffy's body was still rubbery and changing shape anyway.

Also shouldn't Luffy get "All abilities from before but to a much greater extent" with Gear 5th? Given that his blunt force resistance / damage reduction is greatly enhanced, same with his Attack Reflection.

He is transmuting his body into Haki again, plus, he is constantly using Haoshoku Coating in his body, just like he transmuted his Haki into rubber in G4.
