Well still, a cat of all things doing this to current Nami and Usopp means Elbaf will probably come with serious powercreep, hopefully not Wano tier
 
Weren't giants always portrayed as bonkers, like when Oden was with WB or at Marineford when one of them fought Vista? Or how Big Mom said that an army of giants could even overwhelm the Yonko?

Yep, it was with Wano in the 2 countries the WG didn’t want to **** with. And the navy tried everything from artificial gigantification , to trying to get child giant soldiers.

The one who fought Vista (Lonz) was the same one who Whitebeard sonned with one quake attack
Not saying him fighting Vista is an outlier because of that I'm just pointing that out

Aokiji ice, kizaru laser, law's room in punk hazard and more also works... It only "negates" devil fruit usage if the water is submerging the user and making them weak...

Like fights can be great and central to the story, but if the only thing they can enjoy about the story are it's fights, do they even like the series, or do they just want to consume action?
 
Daaamn why did Sanji and Luffy pull out the big guns on that cat?! Was Ifrit Jambe and Gear 4 really necessary?!

Also I'm already loving this chapter, this arc is already off to a dope start imo.

John Giant, the first Marine Giant, was actually sold to the WG by Caramel, who was also going to sell them Linlin(We would've been ****** lol), who she said had the potential to be an Admiral one day.
