One Piece Abilities Addition Thread #4

I don't think that shows Usopp being directly hit. Kuma re-directs the Fire Star but it doesn't appear to be going back completely in the same direction it came from.

Maybe the anime could clear that scene up.

I'm really basing that he got hit by the attack since the text bubble for his scream was right exactly the flames and Usopp was shown previously next to Chopper in the last page before the attack and then he wasn't seen, leading me to believe he was engulf by the flames
 
Given that Usopp was clearly hurt by it, I would argue against Resistance to Fire. Could just be that the attack didn't cause enough significant lasting harm, but still clearly was enough to hurt him.
 
Well, the anime is considered non canon and the manga doesn't (at least to me) show Usopp being burn by the attack...
 
@PlumCrayfish; the manga also doesn't show him being directly hit by it. We just see a shout / reaction in a speech bubble near that fire that is most likely Usopp.

By itself that doesn't look like Resistance to Fire to me.
 
It's a recent addition.

For Zoro's case should be Minor tho. He can do it, but it's an occasional ability. Same for Luffy against Blueno I guess.

Okay.

I went ahead and deleted the Hand-To-Hand Combat part in my original post. Like I said, I knew it wouldn't be accepted, but figured it was worth trying since she beat up Vivi and that fishman without her powers.

And I have a question. I noticed in Calaca's first post that it says Paramecia-Producers have the Organic Manipulation ability. Is Robin a Producer-type?
 
Not all Paramecia users are the same. Creating copies of her limbs and combining them may count as Organic Manipulation, but it's a limited type.
 
Fishmen should have either Underwater Breathing or Self-Sustenance, but not both.

UB is better since they need oxygen. The only one who should have SS is Enel.
 
I'll take a look at RoronoaxRobin's suggestion and then I'll contact some staff members to check this thread so we can move on with this. We're almost at 100 replies.

Seems fine. I barely see it as such, but his scan against Ryuma is good enough to grant it. The rest is a bit iffy, with his fight against Jola and Holy being another good case to add it. So it'd go for Skypiea Zoro.

Damn, she's from the Assassins Creed. Agreed.

Possibly Weapon Mastery sounds good enough.

I'll check the Fishmen's profiles to replace Self-Sustenance with Underwater Breathing.
 
I feel like we should add more to Luffy's Enormous Willpower justification as he went through a poison treatment with only a 2-3% chance of survival that usually takes two days, all depending on his willpower and yet he completed the operation in less than a day

@ RoronoaxRobin- I agree with Limited Organic Manipulation, Damage also agree to it earlier I recall

If we're still adding abilities, I guess:

  • Social Influencing for Jabra as he is commonly know trying to deceive his opponent like what he did to get Sanji to lower his guard
 
I disagree with Robin's Organic Manipulation. Duplication covers that power since she's not really creating her limbs but duplicating them. It's less cluttered and more accurate that way.
 
I'd like to recommend Minor Resistance to Power Nullification for Robin. She could resist the Seastone effects much, much better than Pre-TS Luffy, who would completely lose his strength and be unable to move properly. Meanwhile, Robin had the strength to briefly escape Spandam twice and also stalled him for some time by biting into the rim of the Bridge of Hesitation.

If this is accepted then Robin would also need a Enies Lobby Key, which she currently doesn't have because she didn't do anything that arc. But I have a suggestion to make for that.
 
I'm not sure if Robin should get it. Luffy's that because it was stated that he was stubborn enough to ignore the effects of the Seastone.

But if everyone is okay, I think it should be added. I disagree with adding an Enies Lobby key just to add a single ability without a tier change nor more abilities. We'd just add that to her Thriller Bark key and call it a day.
 
Basil also used Kairouseki against Trafalgar Law, he shouldn't have power null? (Like smoker has)
 
@Calaca Robin would change tiers via power scaling. With Enies Lobby Chopper, Usopp, and Nami all being 7-C, that would bump her Likely 7-C rating from Skypiea to either 7-C or probably At least 7-C since she (even without feats from EL) should still be a lot stronger than those three. Just like she is in Thriller Bark. Also, before Nami explains to him what Seastone is in Ch. 400, Chopper evidently couldn't fathom why Robin was still letting CP9 push her around after her declaration when she was strong. Even though he's seen what Lucci, Kaku, Bluneo, and Kalifa are capable of back at Iceburg's manor.

If you still disagree, then how about this: If any of this is even accepted, then how about combining the Enies Lobby Key with her Skypiea Key?
 
I don't see enough evidence nor to upgrade Robin based on a single statement, and adding or changing the name of the key is useless.

Robin did nothing on Enies Lobby to grant her a new key. Skypiea Saga and Thriller Bark arc as keys are good enough and shouldn't be changed just because a single ability that is yet to be accepted and a single statement that wouldn't change her tier by any considerable degree.
 
Tbh, when I first decided to propose this new ability for Robin, I didn't even care about upgrading her or anything. It was only until I realized that this ability happened in the Enies Lobby Saga that I decided to bring up the idea for a new key. But I can agree with just simply adding the ability to the Thriller Bark Key and leaving it at that. If it does get approved.
