Official Calculations Discussion Thread

Thank you but how do you calc it for durability feat?
I am unsure of the context or situation, but there are three approaches (the first being for speed, so I'll just cover two):

First would be explosive yield. Formula for that would be in Step 3:

"W = R^3*((27136*P+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2, where W is the yield in tons of TNT, R is the radius in meters, and P is the shockwave pressure in bars, where we generally use 1.37895 bars or 20 psi of pressure. For this specific formula, there is no need to divide the result by 2."

Second would be area, which would be a good, general approximation of the yield of an explosion for both nuclear and non-nuclear explosions.

hello I have this feat of massive explosion like it is 10x+ the size of Earth and this is the result of Yield: Y = ((x/0.28)^3)/1000
5.93581e+13 its a big number I don't know how to get the energy

Is there a possible way to calculate weight of mythological species (example like dragon) assuming it being given size?

Can someone get the final result?

Anyway of calcing this feat? (The mushroom-like explosion, not the crater itself that happens afterwards)

i mean yeah, you just need something to reference so you can get the size of the explosion
off initial glance i can't see anything there though

Okay, I forget about this thread

Same thing here
How to calc someone making a storm even more violent?
Like, there's a storm in the horizon, but then a character makes that storm even more violent, with rain and lightning, with the wind as well being way more strong than before

Can someone explain to me why this isn't calc stacking if it uses values from other calcs?
We don't even use that value, every Bijuu tier just downscale to baseline 6-C (4.3 Gigatons) instead of using that. They downscale from one of the Bijuudama calcs who is somewhere above baseline 6-C.

Why? Probably because it is considered calc stacking.

What are you trying to calculate here?

I like to bring back up a possible suggestion for a way to get a measurable way of getting minimum/maximum durability for characters who have been hit with powerful attacks, while massively injured could still operate somehow while physically struggling or exhausted.

Example Ichigo taking the Cero Oscuras, or Gloxinia from NNT as he has 0 strength And could only operate with Droplet of Life.

The suggestion is with the “Stopping Power” method which is the force necessary to render something incapacitated or immobile, this is usually synonymous with firearms.

One method with this is you can get this with Watts by dividing J/s with seconds. That way we can get the minimum durability a character can take that makes them immobile or hard to move but somehow still operate.

Thoughts?

Can someone calculate this speed

Is it possible for me to calculate the speed or power of this? And how
Well, the lightning itself should move as fast as lightning does (this wiki's 'standard' is 4.4×10^5 m/s, or Mach 1282.798834). Seems pretty self-explanatory and sufficient.

Don't know the context, but assuming some things: You could calculate how fast a character is moving relative to how fast the lightning moves in a similar timeframe (assuming you can find the timeframe). Such works for similar situations too, like a character moving relative to light.

As for power: Short answer is I don't know. Long answer:

Is there anything the attack specifically does besides just being a thunderbolt (like explode on the target, maybe)? This wiki also doesn't accept most lightning in fiction as 'real lightning.' Scared of 8-C scaling??

Someone else may know though.

How do you calculate the explosion generated by a firework? Is it the same formula for explosions/shock waves?

Well, we have this page for standard Hurricane, idk if it work for you

The question is what kind of Comprehensive Destruction value would this feat fall under if the feat just cracked or fractures an object but remains in one piece?

I don’t know if I asked this question but would like clarification.

For example a large, spherical rock bolder is the object in question.
