No.9 Type S Vs. Ben Tennyson.

I go with Ben with many reasons above.

And I don't think that Ben is lack of experience, well, he's transform into aliens and fights the bad guys in nearly every episodes of 18 seasons (about 230 episodes)...


By the way Gargoyle, Is Nier Automata worth enough for buying PS4 for this game? I am interested in this game.
 
Yes, absolutely get Nier Automata, the game is the shit with a good gameplay, a great story and some pretty great characters.

Yeah. Actually, Ben unlock fail safe system first time in final episode, and he fight without fail safe before, so he would be alright without it.
 
So youre saying he can kill 9S without fail safe or master control within 10 minutes while in character?

Yes, but not easy, it would be a good challenge.
 
Can ya explain why ya think Ben wins? Since remember, he's also being attacked, 9S isn't gonna stand there. 9s could always beat him first.
 
Well, he's just turn intro Ghostfreak and destroy him from inside (not possess him, he can't possess android)

Or turn into Big Chill, like Ghostfreak, Big Chill can phase into 9S body and attacks him from the inside.

Or he just turn into Upgrade, merge with 9S and manipulate 9S body, or just activates 9S's self-destruct (from what I heard, 9S pants will be removed when he self-destruct, lol.)

Or turn into Feedback, and absorp 9S energies (I'm not so sure with this one, does 9S need energy to stay alive?)

Or turn into Brainstorm, this one is extremely smart, he can find a way to win. (seriously, Brainstorm is like friggin' Sherlock, he's just calculate his chance to win right in front of his enemies, with his IQ being 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)

Or Grey Matter, this one is smarter than Brainstorm, he even outsmarted the second smartest being in the universe, maybe, he'll find a way to win.

And from what I've seen, I see that 9S can have fear, can feel despair, and have some of human's emotions. So, turn into Toepick and show his face.
 
Yes but will Ben do that in character? he doesnt known 9S is a robot, and 9s can potentially kill him first.
 
Well, if it's in character, Ben would transform into Ghostfreak and tried to possess him, or turn into Big Chill to freeze 9S from the inside (he's actually do this multiple times) and when he goes inside 9S body, he'll know that 9S is a robot, and destroy him from the inside.

Actually, Ben is very savage against robots. He's once transformed into Goop, goes inside their bodies, and burst out like an explosion.
 
Nope, just his ways to wins.

Because in reality, the fight didn't really start by official, so, we got to presumed what we can.

It's in character, they fight in New York, both are restricted.

Using thus info who would win, yes Ben has options to win but this is in character, ya gotta go with whatd he would do normally against a seemingly human opponent.
 
What he would do normally is just transform into Feedback, and absorbing 9S energy (even he's doesn't know that his enemies is robot or not, he would transform into Feedback and absorb their energies.)

Actually the problem is, you restricted Ben too much.

-9S doesn't have immortality

-Speed Equalized

-Ben doesn't have master control

-Ben doesn't have fail-safe

-Ben is restricted in 10 minutes

-In character, between character that willing to kill against a character that wants to save everyone.

And? His immortality is gone.

They're both in character, not just Ben. And neither are evil so not a point.
 
My vote goes to Ben for versatility. And intangibility via Ghostfreak and Big Chill. It says forms above 7-A are restricted, so Ben has access to Clockwork as well.

And? I don't know much about Nier Automata but Ben has access to forms with a fairly relevant level of hax like Clockwork,Ghostfreak,Upgrade,and Toepick. Against a Human looking enemy he may go for an alien like Swampfire or Big Chill initially. The Former having low High Regenerationn. And the latter having intangibility and 6-B freezing capability.
 
Against a human looking opponent he goes for big chill or swampfire? Can 9S not potentially kill then, but chill is something he can take down.

Im not having a rerun of the samus thread, that shit is messy, he can have big chill but any powers above 7-A aint happening.

Since despite being 7-A thread, 2-C absorbtion, 6-C freezing, 5-B ice beam and more were brought up, it wasnt even 7-A at that point.

Ah yeah I remember now. Has 9S ever destroyed something with low High or above regen to the point where it couldn't regenerate? Can he hit an intangible object?
 
I must be honest, I can not understand a lot of argument here, if people are refering to Ben having MC or not, if Ben is going for the kill or going to play around etc etc etc. And with Jman restricting stuff left and right, this will just make it more messier.

It hurts me a lot, but I think that we should restart the battle and give more concrete arguments and conditions.

I was fine with how it started, I just listened to ya two in what should and shouldn't be off limits.
 
if you are going to restart the battle, then this is what you should do:

1) Give Ben Master Control and Fail-Safe, and give 9S his inmortality.

2) Re-write all the votes.

3) Specify the conditions of the new battle:

  • Specify If they are seriuos about fighting or being very casual.
  • Specify a place of battle such as NY, some bunker in space or whatever.
  • The specific conditions of victory; Either BFR, Incap, K.O, death etc.
  • Specify which alien Ben will start on, which aliens he can use and which not (Because some aliens can stomp 9S very hard ) .
All of this is importan if you're going to restart the thread, of course ya can just let it how its now.
 
If I give him failsafe mode, the omnitrix will litteraly just pick an alien that can stomp 9 for him anyway. And 9 litterally can't kill Ben because it'll resurrect him.
