Nihilego vs Ryuko

Ryuko should take this low difficulty. Nihilego doesnt have much that would be any real threat to Ryuko. Teleportation and telekinesis would only keep her at a distance for so long, and Ryuko has a resistance to Mind Manipulation.

  • Power Split and Guard Split - Ryuko still has a large amount of other abilities to compensate her AP and Durability being balanced with Nihilego's.
  • Tickle - Im not sure if Ryuko is ticklish or not...lol kidding, but this wouldnt do much besides serve as a minor annoyance.
  • Acid and Acid Spray - These two might actually pose some threat but Ryuko's regen should be able to compensate.
  • Constrict -Ryuko does what she did to Mk 1 Gamagori and impales Nigilego with Senketsu Senjin.
  • Pound, Headbutt, and Head Smash - Physical attacks which would hurt but wouldnt do much lasting damage, and Nihilego engaging Ryuko in close combat is a bad idea...
  • Clear Smog - Essentially useless unless Nihilego somehow manages to get Ryuko near death in which it will nullify her amped AP and Durability.
  • Psywave and Power Gem - Both have visible charges right before they fire, which would make them fairly easy to avoid, and Ryuko can regenerate if she does end up getting hit.
  • Venoshock - The damage from this move is halved without any chance of being doubled due to Nihilego's only poisoning move being nullified.
  • Safeguard - Useless as Ryuko doesnt use and status effecting abilities.
  • Mirror Coat - Only works on ranged attacks (Which would actually be effective on Ryuko's air slashes but not much else).
  • Venom Drench - Only works on poisoned opponents.
  • Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock - Only work on opponents that are tagging in.
  • Wonder Room - Wears off eventually and Ryuko's regen would compensate for the durability change.
Overall Ryuko should take this, her superior combat skill and intelligence, regen, reactive evolution, and resistance to a good amount of Nihilego's hax should net her the win.
