I don't know what the Kanto Region, Ylisse, and the Atreides Empire even are.

The Kanto Region is the part of the setting that the Pokemon Generation 1 games take place in, as well as part of the Generation 2 games. Being the first Pokemon region from the first games, many other installments in the series allude to its content.

I take it that is a rejection of the Kanto Region (And Ylisse?), presumably because it's only one country/region in the Pokemon setting? Independent of that & even their Pokemon, humanity in the Pokemon world is somewhat notable in capabilities.

(Sorry if I seem or am biased.)

Desperately tries to convince people to put Sumeragi or Eden from Azure Striker Gunvolt on the list, knowing full well it lacks the popularity
 
I don't know what the exact criterias are for something to be a civilization, but I will just go ahead and suggest Konoha for now

The current list also seems to lack anime representation so that might help its case a bit
 
That could work, I suppose, but it is the type of question that should preferably be timely, and then we would likely have to release it next month.

Thanks, but I remember reading that the person responsible for SSB would only accept original game characters.

I know people still want Zero (Mega Man X) and Reimu from Touhou. I've also seen people wanting that Hollow Knight character. And as much as I don't want him, Steve from Minecraft is a highly requested one. Same with Crash, Spyro, Dante, Doomguy, and Master Chief.

Btw Crono (the name) is spelled without the h.
