I mean, DMC3 Dante screws around more often than his other incarnations (sans DMC4) and I don't think he'll pull out Quicksilver right off the bat. IMO he'll play around with Nero at first until he gets really pissed and gives Dante everything he's got
Well, considering that Dante isn't going to take the kid seriously right off the bat, I think Nero should be able to catch him off guard one or two times with his arm
Nero has the ap advantage as he was able to beat Sanctus who had gained a small part of sparda's power by himself
Unlike Dante who needed Vergil's help against arkham
Hell Sanctus would be more powerful than arkham as he had the real sparda sword unlike arkham who had the force edge which nearly all the power is held
Well I would give it to Nero more because of AP adv and less likely to screw around DMC 3 is notorious for not taking things too seriously though he can pull quicksilver he won't do it off the bat and Nero can use this chance to badly hurt Dante and win
And I think I should also note that Vergil, who is Dante's equal, could keep up with the latter even with Quicksilver. And since Nero is superior to both Dante and Vergil individually (and possibly combined) Dante's speed advantage with QS is not at all that impressive.
While Nero is also cocky, he's not as cocky as Dante and with an AP advantage he'd likely come out on top but not without a fight and if Dante does get a chance to use Quicksilver, he'll get an edge but I think Nero could pull it off.
Never thought Nero would be beating Dante, Thank good it's not Devil May Cry 4 Dante. We say that match.
