NEP Question

Even if mindless, NEP characters still have a will, the desire to do something (plus, some types of the powers just require you to not have a soul or body, one can still have a mind).

They have to, otherwise they are no characters, like an primordial/fundamental force (like your typical void).

Aren't mind and will connected? For simplicity sake we can use NEP 2 characters. Another example would be if verse states that NEP 2 character also lacks energy that is fundamentally needed to use his abilities but that NEP 2 character can still use those abilities.

Will is the principle of thought, yes. As for the other, maybe the character is special... or it may be an inconsistency. NEP 2 has its issue, and I believe DontTalk is planning a revision to fix it.

No, we don't, either the definition of "soul" is that verse is not the same as our's (may be something more primal or completely different), or the soulless being weren't that soulless to begin with.

I see, thank you for your answers. Like you already said characters need to be able to act and use those abilities otherwise they wouldn't be characters.
