(NEEDS VOTES) The year of the snek NEW YEARS SPECIAL! (King Cobra (Real World) vs Black Mamba)

Oooo... Tough call. King cobras, like kingsnakes, are one of those snakes that are meant to eat other snakes (including venomous ones). Retreating is pretty easy for a black mamba to do as it is the fastest snake in the world. 10 miles per hour is good speed for a snake, and various snake fact listings have the black mamba doing 12 miles per hour. In other words, the black mamba should be capable of doing anywhere from 10 to 12 miles per hour.

It's hard to find reliable sources for the King Cobra's speed, with Google claiming it can do 10 to 12 miles per hour just like the black mamba. Both can climb and both can swim, so it'll be hard to corner either snake.

Once they're forced to fight... emphasis on forced, I think the King Cobra is most likely to win, but I think the most likely outcome is the constant fleeing will either exhaust the snakes or cause one of them to leave the battlefield. I know SBA doesn't approve of BFR through those means, but like, this is the real world, come on. I doubt either snake is going to care about what this site has to say.

I do think the King Cobra will win, possibly by predation, but more likely through BFR.
